For Discerning Travelers to Japan — Authentic Nihon Buyo & Kimono

Experience the World of a Japanese Princess

What Stays With You, Long After the Journey

Immerse Yourself in the Beauty of Japan,
in Body and Spirit

A journey through Japan offers countless choices. Visiting famous sites, savoring the cuisine, wandering the streets — each is a precious part of the experience.

Yet what lingers longest is often not what we merely see, but what we come to know through the body itself. Dressed in a fine kimono, guided by a master instructor, you perform Nihon Buyo. The angle of a fingertip, the direction of a gaze, the placement of each step — as you trace the meaning within each movement, the beauty of Japan, refined over centuries, rises within you as your own.

Beyond what sightseeing alone can reach, into the very heart of Japanese culture. Here lies an unforgettable time, worthy of an extraordinary journey.

Why Choose Us

What Sets Our Experience Apart

Guided by a Master Instructor

Your experience is led directly by a master instructor with over thirty-five years of dedicated practice. This is far more than simply wearing a kimono or imitating a few steps — it is authentic Nihon Buyo, with the meaning behind each movement carefully unfolded, until true beauty takes root in your own body.

More Than Surface — A Deeper Understanding

This is not an experience of merely wearing a kimono and dancing. From the origins of Nihon Buyo to the meaning within each gesture, and the history and culture behind it all — through the instructor’s guidance, you touch the true depth of the tradition. What remains is a living understanding that goes beyond mere form.

Authentic Settings and Attire

Carefully selected fine kimono, a space arranged down to the smallest detail, and every gesture — all unified within a single, coherent world. Unlike a casual kimono rental, both the fabric you wear and your very bearing are of a different order. Immersed in the weight that only the genuine possesses, you leave the everyday behind and sink deep into the beauty of Japan.

Tailored to Each Guest

Duration, content, and location are freely tailored to each guest’s interests and budget. From a yukata self-dressing masterclass, to a program combined with a tea ceremony, to a private viewing — we design a singular experience that accompanies each guest’s own journey.

Producer & Master Instructor

Maiko Soma

Maiko Soma

She entered the path of Nihon Buyo at the age of three, and has walked alongside this art ever since. She achieved the rank of Natori at thirteen and Master Natori at thirty-eight, and today runs her own studio in Utsunomiya, Tochigi. In her movements, refined over more than thirty-five years, an unwavering grace resides in every fingertip and every gaze.

Her work reaches far beyond preserving the classical form. Through collaborations with pianists, performances at care facilities, and ceremonial dances at traditional events, she continues to expand the possibilities of Nihon Buyo. Deeply rooted in tradition yet unbound by its limits, her mission is to carry the transformative power of this art to every corner.

What she treasures most in welcoming guests from abroad is not simply teaching the shapes of the dance. Through both words and gesture, she conveys the meaning within each fingertip and each gaze, allowing guests to experience the true depth of the art itself. Beyond differences of culture and language, delivering an authentic experience that stays with each person — this is her calling.
